Editorial Policy

This policy describes how Menuu Guide gathers, checks and presents information. It is the standard every page on this site is held to, and it is published so readers can hold us to it too.

Sources

  1. Official sources are primary. Item names, availability, nutrition figures, ingredients and allergen information come from Chick-fil-A's official website and official support material.
  2. Third-party sites are never a source for figures. Competitor menus, delivery platforms and nutrition databases may alert us that something needs checking; they are never copied as data. Delivery-platform prices, if ever cited, are labelled as that channel's prices for a named location — never blended into menu prices.
  3. Every page shows its source and check date. A "last verified" date changes only when the data is actually re-checked — never automatically.

Prices

  • A price is published only from a recorded observation: item, size, entrée-or-meal, channel, restaurant location, date observed, source. The full record is kept on file; the page shows the price with the month and year it was checked, and states that prices vary by restaurant.
  • We never publish a "national price," a "national average," or a range built from unsourced figures.
  • Where no verified price exists, pages print "Check your restaurant for pricing."
  • Tax and fee treatment is stated when known and stated as unknown when it is not.

Nutrition and allergens

  • Figures are printed with their serving basis (for example: per entrée; entrée only, excluding side and drink; including toppings and dressing; per packet).
  • Calculations (meal totals, per-piece figures, rankings) are labelled as calculations, show their inputs, and use only figures published on this site.
  • We never state that any item is safe for a person with an allergy. Customisation and cross-contact can change suitability; readers are directed to the official Nutrition & Allergens information and to the restaurant.
  • No personal visits, taste tests, reviews or expert credentials are claimed. Descriptions are written from official product information, in our own words.

Limited-time and seasonal items

Items carry an availability status and the date it was observed. Limited-time windows are published only as verified from an official source, and ended items are removed or archived with a note — not left presented as current.

Menuu Guide is independent of Chick-fil-A, Inc. Official links are labelled as links to the official website. See the independence & trademark notice.

Corrections

Errors are corrected under the corrections policy, with significant corrections noted on the affected page.
